I’m from Austin and I adore this man. His talent, his presence were amazing to behold. I watched him live every time he played in Austin from 1981 until the end. I will always love him and forever miss him. RIP SRV Thank you for the memories 💙💙💙💙

There was a helicopter crash, but there weren’t four in flight or in waiting. The storm was too bad! The helicopter he got on was Eric Claptons helicopter & he died w Claptons manager in that crash. The pilot flew it straight into a mountain he couldn’t SEE anything. Had NO business flying. Stevie was sober and wanted to go home back to his hotel room to call his girlfriend after attending his usual AA meetings. VH1 DO BETTER!!!! By this LEGEND.
